Levrix is an antihistamine used for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis, including persistent allergic rhinitis and Urticaria. Levrix is fast acting and readily absorbed.
Levrix relieves:
- Runny nose
- Itchy nose
- Skin allergies
- Itchy eyes
- Sneezing
- Watery eyes
- Blocked nose.
Ingredients:
Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 5mg. Also contains Lactose.
Contraindications:
- Do not use if you have a hypersensitivity to piperazine derivatives
- Do not use if you have severe kidney impairment
- Do not use if you are on dialysis
- Do not use if you have a galactose intolerance
- Do not use if you have Lapp lactase deficiency
- Do not use if you have glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Precautions (check with pharmacist before use if any of the following apply):
Kidney disease; urinary retention predisposition (eg spinal cord lesion, prostatic hyperplasia) pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under 6 years of age.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 6: 1 tablet daily swallowed whole.

Warnings:
May cause drowsiness; do not drive or operate machinery if affected. Avoid alcohol.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those with kidney problems should seek medical advice before using Levrix.
